HAVE YOU ever been so discouraged that you forgot how many times our Savior has rescued you?
Job 4:3-6 says, “Remember how your words have guided and encouraged many in need. But now you feel discouraged when struck by trouble. You respect God and live right, so don’t lose hope!”
The enemy uses ‘discouragement’ in the lives of those involved in First Nations ministry to cause them to forget our Creator’s faithfulness, leaving them unable to move forward in their walk.
TODAY, I INVITE YOU to pray with me that our Native people and those serving in Native Ministry will be encouraged.
Deuteronomy 20 verse 4 says, “The Lord your God will fight alongside you and help you win the battle.”
Ask our Creator to allow our First Nations people and those serving in Native Ministry to WALK in confidence and victory, knowing the battle is His. Ask that our people will be encouraged by remembering His faithfulness.
ADDITIONAL SCRIPTURES (4 translations: The Scriptures, CEV, Amplified, KJV):
“The Scriptures” is a translation that includes the original Hebrew names and has the books in chronological order. The Contemporary English Version (CEV) is a translation that is written for ‘oral tradition’ peoples and it flows well while reading it aloud. The Amplified version is one where meanings of words and phrases are ‘amplified’ for better understanding. The King James Version (KJV) is the translation that works well with Strong’s Concordance. 2 Chronicles 20:15-17; Deuteronomy 5:33; 2 Chronicles 32:6-8; Psalm 20:7-8; Psalm 34:17-18.
