HAVE YOU ever reflected on your relationships with Believers, and wondered why your common faith in Christ appears to bring more division than unity?
The desire for ‘unity’ is a common and ancient burden among our Native peoples. As Believers, we confirm and testify that ‘unity’ is important to our Creator and Christ.
However, those serving in First Nations ministry often witness more conflict and division, in the Body of Christ, than harmony and respect.
TODAY, I INVITE YOU to pray with me that those serving in Native Ministry, will actively pursue compassion for one another.
1 Peter 3:8-9 says “Finally, all of you should agree and have concern and love for each other. You should also be kind and humble. Don’t be hateful and insult people just because they are hateful and insult you. Instead, treat everyone with kindness. You are God’s chosen ones, and he will bless you.”
Ask our Creator to allow our First Nations people and those serving in Native Ministry, to bless one another, while pursuing unity.

MORE ABOUT: Pursue Unity
I like to study with 5 translations. As you go through these studies, I encourage you to do the same. “The Scriptures” is a translation that includes the original Hebrew names and has the books in chronological order. The Contemporary English Version (CEV) is a translation that is written for ‘oral tradition’ peoples and it flows well while reading it aloud. The Amplified version is one where meanings of words and phrases are ‘amplified’ for better understanding. The King James Version (KJV) is the translation that works well with Strong’s Concordance. The Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) is a great companion version that I find gives great insight.
John 17:20-21 – “And I do not pray for these alone, but also for those believing in Me through their word, so that they all might be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, so that they too might be one in Us, so that the world might believe that You have sent Me.” (The Scriptures)
1 Corinthians 1:10 – “And I appeal to you, brothers, by the Name of our Master Yeshua Messiah, that you all agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be knit together in the same mind and in the same opinion.” (The Scriptures)
1 Peter 3:8-9 – “To sum up, let all of you be like-minded, sympathetic, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, humble-minded, not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, in order to inherit a blessing.” (The Scriptures)
